THE FEMUR HEAD LIGAMENT MORPHOLOGY IN SHEEP OF THE BREED SANTA INES.

It was as objective investigates the morphology of 20 pars of femur head ligaments of ovine of Santa Ines breed, coming from the region of Jataí/GO, without affections and alterations historic in pelvis members, because the ovine are utilized as experimental models in human orthopedics studies and is few the information about the morphology of this breed, which is adapted to our conditions. Each ligament was separated in proximal and distal portions and individually identified; after that, the samples were fixed in appropriated solutions and took to histological routine, being part of it included in Histosec® (Merck) and other part, in Historesin® (Leica-Germany).
