Rhipicephalus (Boophilus) microplus, Dermatobia hominis and Haematobia irritans are considerable productivity obstacle, aggravated factor to medicament resistance of many active principles. Reason why, an unprecedented formulation containing benzoylphenyl urea + organophosphate was evaluated in four clinical studies. In the tick, natural and artificial infestations were performed. The first one efficacy index was greater than 90% from 7th to the 28th DPT (Post-Day Treatment). In the artificial infestations, Fluazuron 2.5% formulation was used as a comparative parameter to the new formulation (benzoylphenyl urea + organophosphate). The maximum efficacy index (100%) was reached from the 20th to the 47th DPT. The new formulation therapeutic and residual efficacies against Haematobia irritans (natural infestation) remained higher than 90% from the 1st DPT to the 14th DP, reaching a maximum index (99.96%) in the 1st DPT. Regarding larvae of Dermatobia hominis, the new formulation showed an effectiveness greater than 90% from the 7th to the 21st DPT. In summary, the results obtained in the four studies, made it possible to recommend this formulation, unprecedented worldwide, in the dose and via administrated, in the treatment and control of the main ectoparasitosis of cattle.
