A total of 195 milk samples were submitted to CMT and bacteriological examination to evaluate the sensitivity, specificity and correlation between these two tests regularly used in the diagnosis of subclinical mastitis. Bacteriological results revealed a total of 66 (33.8%) positive samples, with a prevalence of 61 (92.4%) coagulase-negative Staphylococci and five (7.6%) coagulase-positive Staphylococci. California Mastitis Test had better results for sensitivity (57.6%), specificity (86.0%) and correlation (76.4%) when scorePublished
