Abstract

The 17th Veterinary Medicine Academic Week and the 10th Symposium of the Postgraduate Program in Animal Science at Universidade Vila Velha (SAMV UVV) were carefully planned, maintaining the excellence of previous editions. The event not only offered a valuable opportunity for the continuity of technical education but was also strategically designed to stimulate the generation of new ideas and the dissemination of relevant knowledge across various interdisciplinary fields. Aimed at transcending conventional boundaries, SAMV UVV preserved its essence, emphasizing the importance of interactions and human relationships among participants from different sectors, academics, scientists, professionals, and industry representatives, united by a common interest in the diverse aspects of Veterinary Medicine. The event's organization was led by the faculty members of the Veterinary Medicine undergraduate program in collaboration with professors from the Animal Science postgraduate program. The active participation of undergraduate and postgraduate students was strategically planned to enrich the experience of these future professionals, integrating them in an engaging and stimulating scientific environment. During the event, 55 posters were presented, showcasing case reports and research projects in various fields of Veterinary Medicine. These works, after undergoing rigorous review, will be published in the event's proceedings, contributing to the continuous dissemination of knowledge within the academic and professional communities. SAMV UVV once again established itself as a space for the exchange of experiences, strengthening of connections, and promotion of significant advances in the academic and scientific landscape of Veterinary Medicine.
