Ovarian neoplasms in female dogs account for a small proportion of tumors in veterinary medicine, with papillary carcinomas being a rare and poorly understood manifestation. This study aims to describe and characterize a clinical case of ovarian papillary carcinoma in a female dog, addressing its clinical, pathological, and diagnostic aspects, as well as discussing its implications for clinical management. The definitive diagnosis was established through imaging studies and histopathological evaluation, and treatment involved a surgical approach via ovariohysterectomy. This report contributes to expanding knowledge on the clinical progression, diagnosis, and prognosis of ovarian papillary carcinoma in female dogs, highlighting the need for further studies to optimize diagnostic and therapeutic strategies.
